The Walking Dead: When and Will they kill off Negan?

Image
After a year of putting this show on hold, I kick-started my love for it and rewatched the whole series just because I couldn't remember what episode I last watched. Now I am all caught up, with the recent episode featuring the death of a certain key character. Time and time again I hear fans losing interest in the show. The writers will drag out an arc for as long as humanly possible and beyond. With the Negan arc first popping its head at the end of season 6 and still being at large in the most recent- season 8. American Assassin (2017)

American Assassin is a thriller/action movie starring Dylan O'Brien as self-trained assassin Mitch Rapp. His fiancee is killed by Islamic terrorists and he is recruited by a secret black-ops unit. So, I feel the need to say it wasn't that bad. It really wasn't. I didn't regret watching it, it kept my attention, and Dylan O'Brien did save the movie. I'm not going to do a negative review because there's generally enough out there if you want to read them. What I am going to say, is that most of the people watching movies aren't experts (li...

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

Image
Rupi Kaur is a Canadian writer, poet, and illustrator. At 25 she has already crafted this astounding book of an extensive collection of poems focusing on various themes like loss, love, depression, abuse, violence, and femininity. The structure of this book is set out to explore parts of Rupi Kaur's life. Starting with her childhood, relationship with her family, and how it has affected her mental health. There are actually four sections of the book: the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing . I've seen this in a few other poetry books recently and the structure is a good way to give the reader (and writer) a breather.  Kaur's writing style, to me, feels very free. Easy to read. Some poetry you'll find is just too much to take in and difficult to stay concentrated on, but this isn't the case for Kaur's. I find that the flow of her writing is smooth but demanding, it makes you hungry for more. You will find yourself unable to put it down ...
